Excellent location, comfortable room with plenty of coffee and tea, friendly staff, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Characterful with old beams, plush interior, cozy nooks, lovely bedding and bathroom with rainfall shower. In the heart of a nice village with supermarkets and shops close by. Quaint inn with unique decor, fantastic staff, short walk to train station, felt safe.

The location of the hotel was convenient, as it was situated on a roundabout corner, making it easy to reach the train station. The staff were friendly and approachable, always ready to assist with any queries or concerns. The pub next door provided a lively atmosphere, a place to relax and enjoy a drink.
The lack of communication regarding check-out procedures left me guessing and feeling uncertain.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of town. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. I was impressed by the huge bed and the great bathroom. The staff at check-in were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The location in the center of Harpenden village was ideal, with supermarkets and shops close by. I had no trouble with parking, as there was some off-road parking available. The hotel also provided ironing facilities, a good-sized TV, and a hairdryer. One of the best features was the fan provided in the room, which was a lifesaver as I needed to keep the windows closed due to noise from downstairs.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, despite being located in a lively pub. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and there were some really nice touches like fresh milk and biscuits in the room. The shower was excellent and the toiletries provided were great. The pub itself was also excellent, with fabulous food. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm in the area.
This place is situated in the center of town, making it convenient for exploring. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the staff responded quickly and efficiently to any request.
